A local developer approached Collaborative wanting to build a high end spec home on a 8,400 square foot lot in Lake Sammamish.
The property came with some unique height restrictions but the design team’s creative solutions—including three points of entry and an expansive roof deck with territorial views of Lake Sammamish—led to a stunning modern home for an evolving family.
A garage is located on the first floor and a carport on the second floor providing flexibility for the transition from car to home. The home also has an elevator that connects all floors, which was also designed as a flexible space that can be filled in later for use as a pantry or closet.
The first floor features a flex space/bonus room, two bedrooms facing out towards the view, a shared bathroom, and laundry. The master suite is located on the second floor and looks out onto the deck and lake views. The second floor also features a large open living space and a guest room/office that connects to a bathroom, which also acts as a powder room—a unique design move to help save space.
