The homeowners approached Collaborative wanting to remodel their 4,200 square foot house in Bellevue’s Bridle Trails neighborhood. The house, originally built in 1969, sits on an expansive 44,000+ square foot lot full of trees and adjacent to Bridle Trails State Park.

Inspired by the surrounding environment, the design takes on a Pacific Northwest Contemporary look and feel featuring a simple palette of wood and steel. Vaulted ceilings, oversized windows and a continuous skylight (original to the home) flood the house with abundant natural light and bring the outdoors in.

The property also features a new detached 1,300 square foot garage/yoga studio.
